Who this covers

This policy covers AthleteIDs and the profiles, dashboards and coach tools on this site. Many AthleteIDs belong to minors, so accounts for athletes under 18 are expected to be created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider) and the role chosen at sign-up.

Athlete information entered by the family: name, sport, class year, positions, measurements, school and club teams, statistics, achievements, academics, schedule, photos, film and contact details.

Usage information: profile view counts, share and film clicks, QR scans and PDF downloads, recorded with a rotating browser session identifier that is not linked to a name, email address or IP address.

Support and messaging content you send us through the site.

How information is used

To create and display the AthleteID the family chooses to publish, to operate accounts and family access, to show the athlete's own activity counts in their dashboard, to answer support requests, and to keep the service secure.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use athlete information to build advertising profiles.

What is public

Only what the family publishes. A published AthleteID can show the athlete's name, sport, class year, position, school, general location, film, statistics, achievements and any contact marked as approved for sharing.

Contact details are private by default. Draft, private and archived profiles are not shown publicly and are excluded from our sitemap and search indexing.

Photos, video and media

Photos and film are uploaded by the family and stored in our hosted storage. Publishing a profile makes the media on it viewable by anyone with the link. Media can be deleted at any time from the dashboard.

Cookies, storage and third-party embeds

We use browser storage that is necessary to run the site: an authentication session so you stay signed in, and a rotating session identifier for profile activity counts. We do not use advertising cookies.

Film hosted elsewhere and linked from a profile (for example a highlight service) is loaded from that provider, and that provider's own privacy practices apply.

Who we share information with

Service providers that host the site, the database, authentication and file storage, under their own security obligations.

People the family gives access to: additional parent or guardian accounts, the athlete, and coaches invited to a specific athlete.

Authorities where we are legally required to, and to protect someone's safety.

Keeping and deleting information

Information is kept while the account is active. A profile can be unpublished or archived at any time, which removes it from public view.

To delete an account and its information, contact support from the account's email address. Deletion removes the profile, its media and its activity records; backups age out on their normal schedule.

Your choices

Families can edit or remove any information on the profile, choose which contacts are public, keep a published profile out of the directory, turn off search indexing for the profile, and request deletion.
